Ema, a startup that uses teams of AI agents to automate corporate processes, has raised $77 million in Series B funding. The round, led by Creaegis with backing from Accel, Section 32 and Prosus, brings Ema’s total funding to $140 million and values the company at more than four times its 2024 valuation, although it did not disclose the latest figure. The investment reflects growing competition for business spending traditionally directed towards enterprise software and IT services.

Founded in 2023, Ema sells so-called “AI employees” that coordinate multiple models and connect with existing applications across HR, IT and finance. It says it has more than 50 active enterprise deals, over one million enterprise users and has processed more than five million actions and queries, with customers including Google, Microsoft, PwC and NTT DATA. Ema also reports that revenue has grown 50-fold in two years and bookings exceed $150 million, although this represents the total value of multi-year contracts rather than annual recurring revenue.
