## Key points

- Druski made his “SNL” hosting debut.
- Emma Stone joined the monologue.
- Their exchange centred on his mistaken love-interest claim.

## Summary

Druski used his “Saturday Night Live” opening monologue to address being the first host known exclusively as a digital creator, joking about public perceptions of him and promising not to be watered down by the show. His hosting marks a notable move by “SNL” into creator culture.

Emma Stone joined him after he said they had filmed a movie together, “The Catch”, and jokingly claimed she was his love interest. Stone corrected him, saying their characters were not romantically involved; Druski also joked that he wanted to be the first Black man to say he liked her film “Bugonia”.
