Former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff has listed his Cheshire mansion for sale at £6.75million, four years after he bought the property and four years on from the Top Gear crash that left him with life-changing injuries. The 48-year-old, known to fans as Freddie, played 79 Test matches for England before moving into television presenting, and the sale comes as he shifts focus to a new coaching role in Australia.

The 10,000 sq ft house, called Longwood, has six bedrooms, six bathrooms and four floors, and was previously owned by former Manchester United player Phil Neville before Flintoff bought it in 2021. It features three reception rooms, an open-plan kitchen, a leisure suite with a swimming pool, gym, games room and cinema, a passenger lift serving all floors, and monitored CCTV security. Flintoff, who has spoken candidly about the physical and mental toll of the 2022 Top Gear crash, stepped down as England Lions head coach in August to take up a new role with Sydney Thunder in Australia's Big Bash League.
