The ranking places "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" (2014) at the bottom, criticised for overstuffing the plot with too many villains despite strong chemistry between Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, followed by "Spider-Man 3" (2007), seen as a disappointing close to Sam Raimi's trilogy, and "The Amazing Spider-Man" (2012). The animated "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" is also referenced as a critical highlight of the franchise, with its sequel "Beyond the Spider-Verse" due in June 2027.
