- The Brave and the Bold is unlikely before 2029.

## Summary

DC Studios is developing a new Batman for its shared DC Universe, separate from Robert Pattinson’s version in Matt Reeves’ films. The character has not appeared in the 2026 film Clayface, despite its Gotham setting, but the article says he already exists and is active in the DCU.

The new Batman is planned for Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which is inspired by Grant Morrison’s comics and is expected to introduce Bruce Wayne’s son, Damian. Batman has appeared briefly as a rooftop silhouette in Creature Commandos, while Lanterns includes possible Gotham-related references. Pattinson’s The Batman - Part II is scheduled for February 2028; The Brave and the Bold is unlikely to arrive before 2029.
