## Summary

Burn Eternal have released their first single, “Wounds I’ve Made”, and announced that their self-titled debut album will arrive on 26 February through Metal Blade. The band brings together former Killswitch Engage collaborators Howard Jones and Adam Dutkiewicz, making the release the first music from a project teased for several years.

Jones describes the song as a reflection on past mistakes, change and relationships that have run their course; Dutkiewicz says he wrote it about six years ago. Jones first revealed the pair were recording in 2023, and the album was confirmed mixed in December 2024. Dutkiewicz co-founded Killswitch Engage in 1999, and Jones joined in 2002 before leaving in 2012.
