## Summary

SNY has made widespread cuts to its editorial staff and immediately cancelled “SportsNite” and “Baseball Night in New York”. Former Mets reliever and SNY analyst Jerry Blevins said he was “heartbroken”, praising the talent of colleagues across the network.

Hosts Sal Licata and Eamon McAnaney were among those reported to have lost their jobs, while Blevins’ own position remains unclear. SNY will continue Mets and Jets pregame and postgame programmes, but its website is expected to shift towards scheduling information and promotion; several on-air contributors, including Chelsea Janes, will remain.
