Ex-Reality TV Star and Businessman’s Fatal Fall From 28-Story Miami Resort Balcony Sparks Doubts

Yakir Levi, a 45-year-old businessman and former Israeli reality television participant, died after falling from a 28th-floor balcony at the Acqualina Resort and Residences in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. His family and friends have questioned whether the death was suicide, citing a message he sent shortly before the fall saying he was on his way to meet friends; authorities have not stated a cause of death.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Homicide Bureau detectives are investigating the case as an “unclassified death” and recovered Levi’s phone and bag. Born in Ramla, Israel, Levi reportedly moved to the United States with $300, built a multimillion-dollar building restoration business, appeared on the Israeli series The Americans, and is survived by his wife and three children.
