Speaking during an interview to promote the upcoming "on!vitational" indoor golf tournament scheduled for 16–17 October in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the world's 8th-ranked female golfer argued that the advertisement is not undermining women's sports. Hull noted that Sweeney holds an equity stake in Novig and suggested that the platform's audience is predominantly male, making the advertising approach appropriate for the target market. Hull also discussed her own involvement in sports marketing through her association with an on! nicotine pouch brand.
