## Summary

Larry Kudlow ended a nearly half-hour phone interview with Donald Trump on Fox News, telling the president he had to go and joking that he would “get into trouble” if he let the conversation continue. The exchange stood out because Trump kept talking as Kudlow tried to close the segment, prompting a lightly awkward on-air moment.

Trump replied that the United States was “the hottest country anywhere in the world” and suggested Kudlow’s strong ratings would protect him from criticism.
