Execs Launch IP Studio & Unveil Viking Mythology Series
Three television and film executives – Antoine Disle, Orso Vesperini and Olivier Compere – have launched Forge Films Company, a new production studio focused on sci-fi, fantasy and horror IP development. The venture, which launched over the summer, has already unveiled its first project: Lost in Hel, a Viking mythology series that will be released across film, television, gaming and immersive experiences, positioning the company as a "next-generation genre studio" seeking to develop distinctive creative talent and original intellectual property.
Lost in Hel centres on a Viking clan shipwrecked on an unmapped island, following Jarl Alvar and a Christian queen forced into an alliance against an ancient force. The series is directed by Nik Kacevski, known for Mad Max: Fury Road, and stars Jessica Ferguson, Troy Honeysett, Masa Yamaguchi and newcomer Grace Durrant; a proof-of-concept titled Breathe in Hel has been released on YouTube. The exec team spans the U.S., France and the UK, with Léonidas Vesperini as Head of Gaming & Interactive Experiences and former Lionsgate SVP Marc Lorber advising the company.

Three television and film executives – Antoine Disle, Orso Vesperini and Olivier Compere – have founded Forge Films, a production company dedicated to developing original stories in science fiction, fantasy and horror genres. The company represents a collaboration between industry veterans based across the United States, France and the United Kingdom.
The studio's distinctive approach involves developing projects simultaneously across multiple platforms including film, television, gaming and interactive experiences, rather than adapting stories between mediums after initial release. This multi-platform strategy aims to create deeper, interconnected worlds for audiences.
The company's first project is Lost in Hel, a series following a Viking clan shipwrecked on an unmapped island where a warrior leader and Christian queen must forge an alliance against an ancient force. Directed by Nik Kacevski, who previously worked on Mad Max: Fury Road, and starring Jessica Ferguson, Troy Honeysett, Masa Yamaguchi and newcomer Grace Durrant, a proof-of-concept short called Breathe in Hel is already available online.
