Harry Revell, a 32-year-old polo player, died after being seriously injured during a match at Cowdray Park Polo Club in Easebourne, West Sussex, on 11 September. His death prompted tributes from the club and Lovelocks Polo Stud, where he was a valued team member, highlighting his standing in the polo community.

An air ambulance took Revell to a major trauma centre, while two other people were injured; one was treated in hospital and the other was discharged at the scene. Cowdray Park said Revell was unconscious and peaceful after the accident, and announced a farewell cup in his memory while offering support to his family.
