- Exeter defeated Huddersfield 2-1.
- Blackpool and Chesterfield also progressed.

## Summary

Non-league Kidderminster beat League One Doncaster 3-0 to reach the FA Cup second round, while Exeter also upset higher-ranked opposition by defeating Huddersfield 2-1. The results show how the competition can give lower-league clubs a chance to challenge teams from above.

Kidderminster scored through Lewis Walker, Maz Kouhyar and David Davis, with Kouhyar involved in all three goals. Exeter took an early lead through Jack Taylor, conceded an equaliser after half-time, then won late through Charlie Cummins; elsewhere, Blackpool needed a 118th-minute goal to beat Hornchurch, and Chesterfield edged Yeovil 4-3.
