## Key points

- Families complained about a disappointing pumpkin patch in Suffolk.
- Visitors reported smashed pumpkins and broken activities.
- Organisers say guests are damaging displays.

## Summary

Families have criticised Suffolk Pumpkin Patch in Barton Mills, with some leaving early and asking for refunds after describing the attraction as bleak and poorly maintained. Their complaints have gained attention after a social media reviewer compared the experience to Glasgow’s failed Willy Wonka event, raising questions about whether the attraction matched its promises.

Visitors cited smashed pumpkins, broken mini-golf equipment, limited pumpkin varieties, queues and problems with a K-pop performance. Tickets cost £4 for children and £5 for adults, with food and rides charged separately. The organisers, who describe the business as family-run, say visitors have deliberately damaged pumpkins and displays.
