FC 26 Ultimate Team is set to introduce Pre-Season Team 2, a fresh batch of packs featuring reissued high-rated cards rather than brand-new items, as EA Sports continues its end-of-year content cycle. Although the football season proper has moved on, the game's endgame content remains active, giving players another chance to collect some of the year's standout 99-rated cards before attention shifts to the next instalment.

The new team is expected to launch in packs on Friday 4 September, replacing the current Pre-Season Team 1 batch, with leaks suggesting further items from FUTTIES Teams 3 and 4, and possibly standout cards from TOTS, TOTY and Trophy Titans, though this is unconfirmed. Some cards may also be obtainable via SBCs and objectives. Last week's batch included 90 special cards, and it remains unclear whether EA Sports will expand this number given that FC 27 is only a few weeks away.
