## Summary

EA Sports has named Kylian Mbappé as the cover star of EA Sports FC 27’s Ultimate Edition. The choice highlights the Real Madrid and France forward’s prominence following a strong World Cup campaign and renews his association with EA’s football games, having previously appeared on FIFA 23’s cover.

France lost to Spain in the 2026 World Cup semi-finals, but Mbappé scored a tournament-leading 10 goals to win the Golden Boot.
