FEAR FACTORY’s DINO CAZARES Says New Singer MILO SILVESTRO ‘Shines’ On Upcoming Single ‘Roboticist’

Blabbermouth · 5 hours ago

Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares says the band’s forthcoming single, “Roboticist”, marks the start of a “new era” following the arrival of singer Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber. Due for release on 29 August, it will be the first studio recording to feature the pair, who have toured with the band for nearly three and a half years; Cazares says Silvestro “shines” on the track.

The song concerns a roboticist, described by Cazares as an “architect of the artificial” creating machines designed to outlast human flesh. He said artificial intelligence and technological change have long been central to Fear Factory’s work, but stressed that the band did not use AI to write its new music, only recording software that incorporates such technology.

  • “Roboticist” arrives on 29 August as Fear Factory’s first new-era release.
  • Milo Silvestro and Pete Webber make their studio debut with the band.
  • Cazares says AI informed recording tools, not the songwriting.
