## Key points

- The article adds more cross-game *Zelda* callbacks.
- Later games echo OoT through music, characters and story.
- The GBA *A Link to the Past* references OoT’s sages.

## Summary

The developing article now covers a wider set of *Ocarina of Time* references across later mainline *Zelda* games, highlighting how the N64 classic’s characters, music and story continue to surface in the series. These callbacks offer newer players context for details that longtime fans may recognise.

In *Majora’s Mask*, characters acknowledge Link’s past, and Romani’s Ranch has a plush of Ganondorf’s horse. *The Wind Waker* reuses musical phrases from Kokiri Forest and Jabu-Jabu, names statues after OoT spells, and includes character and sage references. The GBA release of *A Link to the Past* also changed “seven wise men” to “seven sages” to connect its story to OoT.
