Netflix’s young-adult figure-skating drama Finding Her Edge will begin production on its second season at the end of August. Madelyn Keys, Cale Ambrozic and Olly Atkins are returning, continuing the story of the Russo sisters and their financially troubled skating dynasty.

The first season launched on 22 January and was renewed less than two weeks later after reaching Netflix’s top 10 in 81 countries and attracting more than 12 million views. Season 1 centred on 17-year-old Adriana balancing a new ice-dance partner, unresolved feelings for her former partner and a fake relationship intended to secure sponsorship for the family rink; Jennifer Iacopelli’s sequel novel is due in May 2027.
