CBS has revealed key details of its autumn 2026 schedule, confirming that Friday, 9 October, will serve as a major premiere night with three returning dramas. The line-up underlines the network's continued reliance on established procedural hits to anchor its ratings, alongside the wider success of Taylor Sheridan's shows for parent company Paramount, which continue to perform strongly on Paramount+.

That Friday night begins with Sheriff Country's second season at 8pm, followed by Fire Country's fifth season at 9pm, before Boston Blue's second season closes the night at 10pm. CBS also confirmed separately that Marshals, Sheridan's first network series, will return for its second season on 4 October with weekly episodes. All new episodes are set to stream on Paramount+ the day after their CBS broadcast.
