First lady Melania Trump and Fox Corporation have announced a "landmark strategic alliance" aimed at expanding Fostering the Future, an initiative supporting children in the foster care system. The partnership brings together the White House and one of America's largest media companies to raise the profile of foster care issues and channel resources towards young people ageing out of the system.

As part of the announcement, a $2 million scholarship fund was unveiled for foster children, backed by Penske Corporation chairman Roger Penske, IndyCar president Doug Boles and Fox Sports chief executive Eric Shanks. The scholarship initiative is tied to the motorsport world, suggesting IndyCar-linked events or branding will be used to support fundraising, alongside Fox's media platforms to promote the cause.
