First Official Look at ‘Wheel of Time’ Star’s New Thriller Requires ‘Adult Supervision’ [Exclusive]
Actor Gustaf Skarsgård, known for playing Rollo in Vikings and appearing in The Wheel of Time, stars in the new Swedish dark comedy-drama Adult Supervision, which is set to premiere at this year's Fantastic Fest. Collider has shared an exclusive first-look image from the film as part of its Exclusive Preview series, offering an early glimpse ahead of the festival screening.
The film follows Bill (Skarsgård) and two fellow fathers, Bobo (Fares Fares) and Pontus (Linus Wahlgren), as they chaperone a school trip to the remote Klippvik archipelago that spirals out of control amid toxic "mean girl" dynamics among the pupils. While Bobo and Pontus initially dismiss the behaviour as harmless teenage antics, Bill recognises the cruelty from his own experience of being bullied, and tensions escalate into a nightmarish scenario where the line between victims and perpetrators blurs. The newly released image shows the three fathers seated together, their contrasting postures and expressions hinting at the friction between them.
