A Florida driver allegedly fleeing a traffic stop crashed head-on into a school bus carrying 19 children, then ran from the scene before being arrested. The children were uninjured, but the incident highlights the danger that fleeing drivers can pose in school zones and to pupils travelling to school.

Deputies said Qahiem Williams, 23, was spotted travelling 17 mph over the limit near The Villages Intermediate Center at about 7:20am on Tuesday. He allegedly sideswiped two vehicles before damage to his car led to the bus collision; he was caught near a Walmart and is being held without bond on multiple charges, with two outstanding warrants also reported.
