Fontaines D.C. have announced a headline show at Slane Castle in County Meath for 26 June 2027, with Hayley Williams, Damien Dempsey and Madra Salach also on the bill. The date makes the Dublin band only the third Irish act to headline the historic 80,000-capacity venue, following Thin Lizzy in 1981 and U2 in 2001, and comes hot on the heels of headline sets at Reading & Leeds and Electric Picnic over the same weekend.

Tickets go on pre-sale from 10am BST on 1 September, requiring registration by 9pm BST on 31 August, with general sale following at 10am on 3 September. Slane has previously hosted acts including The Rolling Stones, Queen, David Bowie, Oasis and Madonna, and the 2027 show notably falls on the Saturday of next year's Glastonbury weekend, though no line-up has yet been confirmed for Worthy Farm. The announcement precedes the release of Fontaines' fifth album, "Dopamine Chamber", due on 16 October via XL Recordings, and follows the band's first Irish show since the death of longtime manager Trevor Dietz in June.
