## Summary

Foo Fighters played “This Is A Call” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, revisiting a song from their 1995 debut album. The performance was part of a four-night residency during the show’s Halloween takeover week, connecting the band’s current run with the music that began its career.

Dave Grohl wrote and recorded the debut album’s songs and instruments in a week in October 1994, after Kurt Cobain’s death, before forming Foo Fighters and becoming the band’s frontman. The group, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021, also performed “Window” from its latest album, Your Favorite Toy, on the residency’s opening night and is due to start an Australian stadium tour the following week.
