Forest in advanced talks to sign Munoz from Palace

BBC Sport · 4 hours ago

Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal worth at least £22m to sign Crystal Palace full-back Daniel Munoz, with the Colombia international allowed to undergo a medical. The move would reunite him with Forest manager Oliver Glasner and represents a significant sale for Palace, where Munoz has been an important player since arriving in 2024.

Talks intensified after Palace’s 4-1 defeat by Manchester City, when Munoz was an unused substitute, despite playing in the opening league defeat at Everton. The 30-year-old has made 109 appearances and scored 11 goals for Palace, helping the club win the FA Cup and Europa Conference League; Palace expect summer signing Anan Khalaili to replace him, while Forest have also bid £40m plus a possible sell-on clause for Everton teenager Harrison Armstrong.
