Forget ‘Blue Bloods,’ the Best British Detective Series on Streaming Is Officially Back
BBC police drama Blue Lights has returned to streaming prominence, with Collider presenting it as a strong successor to the long-running US procedural Blue Bloods. It premiered in March 2023, its third series arrived in September 2025, and the BBC has already commissioned fourth and fifth series; it is available in the US on BritBox and has appeared in Stan Australia’s weekly top 10.
