Former GHOST Member HENRIK PALM Announces New Solo Album ‘Idiot Plot’
Swedish multi-instrumentalist Henrik Palm, a former member of Ghost, will release his fourth solo album, ‘Idiot Plot’, on 4 December through Svart Records. The record emerged after Palm experienced burnout in late 2024, but regained enthusiasm for making music through informal fortnightly studio sessions with producer Simon Söderberg; he describes it as his most psychedelic, unconventional and yet direct release to date.
Palm played in Ghost from 2015 to 2016 and has also worked with bands including In Solitude, Gösta Berlings Saga, Horndal and Viagra Boys. His previous solo albums are ‘Many Days’ (2017), ‘Poverty Metal’ (2020) and ‘Nerd Icon’ (2024), with ‘Poverty Metal’ receiving a P3 Guld nomination for Rock/Metal of the Year; Palm was also among four former Ghost members who sued founder Tobias Forge in 2017 over alleged unpaid profit shares.
