Apple TV's acclaimed sci-fi series "Foundation" has not yet set a premiere date for its fourth season, but its spin-off mobile game, Foundation: Galactic Frontier, is set to launch a long-awaited second season this month. The game update helps tide fans over during an extended wait for new episodes, with production on the main series still ongoing and no confirmed conclusion to filming.

Foundation Season 4 was announced in September 2025, with Ian B. Goldberg and David Kob taking over as showrunners from David S. Goyer, who remains an executive producer; filming began in January 2026 and was due to wrap last month, though this remains unconfirmed. Meanwhile, Galactic Frontier, a free-to-play strategy game developed by FunPlus and inspired by Asimov's Foundation universe, launched globally in October 2025 and later added a Steam version. According to a developer update, most of Season 2's development is complete, with large-scale testing under way; it is due to roll out this month on servers 1001 to 1016 as an initial test phase, ahead of a wider release pending feedback.
