Former MY DYING BRIDE singer Aaron Stainthorpe has formed TOWARDS THE SINISTER with three former bandmates after being dismissed from MY DYING BRIDE in 2025. The project will revisit the group’s early death-doom material, bringing together several musicians who helped create some of its most influential releases.

The line-up includes founding members Calvin Robertshaw and Rick Miah, original bassist Ade Jackson, guitarist Chris Revett, keyboardist Mark Deeks and violinist Emma Allington. They plan small English warm-up shows followed by European festival appearances next summer, performing songs chiefly from MY DYING BRIDE’s first four albums: *As The Flower Withers*, *Turn Loose The Swans*, *The Angel And The Dark River* and *Like Gods Of The Sun*.
