Four men were stabbed and rushed to hospital after reports of a machete-wielding gang running along Bromley High Street in south-east London on Thursday afternoon. Emergency services, including Met Police, London Ambulance Service crews and London's Air Ambulance, were scrambled to the scene, and the high street was closed in both directions while officers remained present.

The Metropolitan Police said officers were called at around 2.15pm to an altercation and found four men with stab wounds; three are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries while one remains in critical condition. Seven men have been arrested and remain in custody, and police say there is not believed to be any wider threat to the public.
