Frankie Rose, formerly of Dum Dum Girls, Vivian Girls and Crystal Stilts, has shared "Return To Dust", a new single from her forthcoming solo album Hila. The gauzy, '80s-influenced synthpop track continues her run as a solo artist known for gothy, atmospheric sounds, and arrives ahead of a support tour and album release that will keep her profile high through the autumn.

"Return To Dust" follows lead single "Can't Be Wrong" and features bouncy synths, icy guitars and a Peter Hook-style bassline; Rose both produced the track and directed its accompanying video herself. Hila is due out on 18 September via Born Losers in most territories and Night School in Europe and the UK, and Rose will open for the Charlatans on their North American tour next month.
