Jadon Sancho is considering a move outside England after becoming a free agent when his Manchester United contract expired six weeks ago. Although Premier League clubs have made offers, the winger is thought to favour playing abroad, with Borussia Dortmund among the interested sides; his next move matters because he is seeking to revive his career after several loan spells.

The 26-year-old joined United from Dortmund for £73m in 2021 and made 158 appearances for the German club across two spells. He made 39 appearances on loan at Aston Villa last season, helping them qualify for the Champions League and win the Europa League, while Chelsea previously paid a £5m penalty to avoid completing an agreed permanent transfer; he is currently training with non-league Flixton.
