## Summary

Julie Tétart scored 13 points and grabbed a game-high nine rebounds as her Monaco side lost 81-71 to Lyon-ASVEL Féminin in the Coupe de France Round of 16. The article argues that her performance challenges doubts about whether she could compete in the WNBA, while the league has not publicly clarified her eligibility.

Tétart played five fewer minutes than 19-year-old Ainhoa Risacher, described in the article as a potential top-15 pick in the 2027 WNBA Draft, but scored and rebounded more. In France’s second division, Tétart’s team is unbeaten after five games and she is averaging 13.8 points and 13.8 rebounds in 22 minutes; the previous season she averaged 20.7 points and 20 rebounds. The article also notes that 14 current WNBA players are her age or older, while Monaco’s defeat included a 6-for-22 performance from three-point range.
