- The first network test session faced connectivity problems.

## Summary

FromSoftware has pushed The Duskbloods, its Switch 2 exclusive, from a 2026 launch window to an unspecified date in 2027. The studio says the delay will give it time to refine the game’s rules and balance after a network test showed strong interest in its combat, strategic depth and player expression.

The game draws on ideas associated with Bloodborne, Sekiro and Dark Souls, alongside features such as jetpacks and dinosaurs. More people applied to take part in its closed network test than applied for Elden Ring Nightreign, although the first test session ended early because of major connectivity problems that were resolved in later sessions.
