## Key points

- FromSoftware announces The Duskbloods closed network test for next month.
- Sign-ups for the test open next week.
- Marks fresh news after a long quiet period on the project.

## Summary

FromSoftware has confirmed a closed network test for The Duskbloods, its upcoming multiplayer action RPG for Nintendo Switch 2, with sign-ups opening next week ahead of the test itself taking place next month. The announcement ends a lengthy quiet spell for the studio on the project, giving players their first proper chance to try the game before release and offering FromSoftware valuable feedback as it heads towards launch.

The Duskbloods was unveiled as a Switch 2 exclusive, marking a departure from FromSoftware's traditional single-player-focused releases such as the Dark Souls and Elden Ring series into more explicitly multiplayer territory. Details on the exact scope, dates and regional availability of the closed network test remain limited, but interested players will be able to register for a chance to take part starting next week, with the test itself running the following month.
