## Key points

- Henry says he wants to stay and help Baltimore recover.
- The Ravens are 4-5 after losing 33-10 to Jacksonville.
- Several teams are reportedly looking for running backs.

## Summary

After Baltimore’s 33-10 defeat by Jacksonville left the Ravens 4-5, Derrick Henry said he had not asked to leave and wanted to help turn the season around. Trade speculation has grown as quarterback Lamar Jackson may miss the rest of the season with a thumb injury, raising questions about Baltimore’s plans.

At 32, Henry could be a less costly but older alternative to Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, whom Indianapolis reportedly values at a package similar to the four picks Carolina received for Christian McCaffrey in 2022. Henry is under contract through 2027, while Taylor’s deal runs through 2028. The Giants, Packers, Vikings, Broncos and Seahawks are reported to be seeking running back upgrades; Baltimore is also bringing in Jacoby Brissett after Joe Fagnano struggled in his first start.
