## Key points

- FSB says a minor was detained over an alleged Moscow park attack threat.
- The United States provided information to Russian security services.
- Tsaritsyno park was temporarily closed as authorities responded.

## Summary

Russia’s Federal Security Service says it detained a minor over alleged preparations for an attack at a Moscow park, after receiving information from the United States. The case prompted the temporary closure of the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve and highlights cooperation between the two countries’ security services.

The FSB said the minor had posted TikTok photos wearing tactical clothing and a balaclava, holding an object resembling an automatic weapon, alongside an image from Tsaritsyno captioned “I found a place”. A search of the home reportedly found the clothing and accessories, while the phone contained a subscription to a neo-Nazi Telegram channel and searches about terrorist attacks, mass killings and violence. Russia’s Investigative Committee is considering what action to take.
