Fuerza Regida Ends Historic Stadium Tour With Star-Studded NYC Closer
Fuerza Regida concluded their nine-date "This Is Our Dream" stadium tour with a star-studded closing show at Citi Field in New York City. The run marked the first time a corridos band had toured stadiums across the United States, cementing the group's status as leading crossover stars of música mexicana.
The final show, held on 7 August 2026, featured guest appearances from 50 Cent, J Balvin, Bobby Shmurda and Shoreline Mafia's Fenix Flexin. Frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz (JOP) performed 50 Cent classics including "P.I.M.P." and "Many Men", joined J Balvin for "La Canción", and opened the show dressed as Spider-Man. The tour, which began in June, also stopped in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Houston, selling out venues throughout.

Fuerza Regida are a Mexican-American band from California who perform corridos, a traditional Mexican storytelling music style that the group has blended with hip-hop and pop influences. This mix has helped drive música mexicana, a broader wave of Mexican regional music, into the mainstream in the United States over the past few years. Their frontman, Jesús Ortiz Paz, is known by the stage name JOP.
The band's "This Is Our Dream" tour was significant because it was the first time a corridos act had played full stadium venues across the US, a scale usually reserved for major pop and rock artists. Running from June 2026, the nine dates took in cities including San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Houston, with every show selling out.
The tour's importance lies in what it signals for the genre's growth and Fuerza Regida's own standing within it, as the band has increasingly worked alongside artists from outside the Mexican regional scene, including established hip-hop and reggaeton names.
