Fujitsu will begin selling its Monaka Arm processors, along with servers containing them, in November—earlier than the previously announced 2027 availability. The move could give cloud operators, AI companies and server manufacturers another source of computing capacity, particularly for inference workloads and sovereignty-focused data centres.

Monaka uses four 2nm compute dies with 36 cores each, four 5nm SRAM chiplets, and support for DDR5 and PCIe 6.0, delivering 144 cores in total. Fujitsu will offer three server designs, including air- and liquid-cooled systems aimed at cloud, high-performance computing and academic users, while claiming twice the inference output of rival CPUs; however, pricing is undisclosed and wider adoption by server makers remains uncertain.
