Fulham agree to sign midfielders Angel and Larsson
Fulham have agreed to sign midfielders Manuel Angel from Real Madrid and Hugo Larsson from Eintracht Frankfurt, strengthening their squad on transfer deadline day. The moves continue a busy summer of recruitment at Craven Cottage and see Fulham deepen their ties with Real Madrid, from where several players have now arrived.
Angel, a Real Madrid academy graduate and Spanish youth international, joins for an undisclosed fee after making his first-team debut earlier this year; he will reunite with former Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa at Fulham. Larsson, a 22-year-old Sweden international with 12 caps who made 87 Bundesliga appearances in three years at Frankfurt, is expected to cost around €25m (£21.4m). They follow Gonzalo Garcia, Cesar Palacios, Shea Charles and Jonah Kusi-Asare in moving to the club this summer.
