Furious reality TV star unloads on Democrat accused of raping her after he was ordered to pay $13million to seven other women

Reality TV star Farrah Abraham publicly criticised Dominic Foppoli, the former mayor of Windsor, California, after a jury in Sonoma County found him liable for sexually assaulting seven women and ordered him to pay them $13 million in compensatory damages. Abraham, who has separately accused Foppoli of raping her and is due to face him in a civil trial in February 2027, said she was relieved by the verdict but frustrated that the case had proceeded through civil rather than criminal courts, as no charges have ever been brought against him.

The seven-week trial concluded with the jury also holding the Santa Rosa chapter of the Active 20-30 club, a men's charity group Foppoli belonged to, liable for one woman's assault after she said she had warned the club about his behaviour and it failed to act; she was awarded a further $2 million. Punitive damages have yet to be decided. Allegations against Foppoli, 44, date from 2001 to 2020 and first became public in 2021 when multiple women spoke to the San Francisco Chronicle; Abraham is one of 14 women who have publicly accused him. Foppoli denies wrongdoing and is seeking a mistrial or, failing that, an appeal.
