The Pikachu selection employs a mixed approach to card design, featuring both nostalgic reproductions of earlier cards and entirely new illustrations. Two standout cards are special illustration rare Pikachu ex variants that together showcase a 'day and night' visual concept. By guaranteeing at least one Pikachu card per booster pack, the series aims to make these collectible cards readily available to fans.
