Country singer Garth Brooks is launching a new arena tour, the Blame It All on My Roots Tour, which opens in August in Indianapolis. The notable feature is its pricing: every seat will cost roughly $150, an approach billed as "every seat in the house, one fair price." This stands out at a time when concert ticket prices are generally climbing, making the flat-rate model a relatively rare gesture towards affordability.

The all-in price breaks down as $140 for the ticket, a $4 facility fee and a $10 service charge, plus taxes — a model previously used by Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and Brooks himself. The run begins with back-to-back shows at Indianapolis's Gainbridge Fieldhouse on 21 and 22 August, which Brooks will record for a planned concert album called Killer Live. Tickets go on sale at once, with no presales, from 10am ET on Friday 17 July via Ticketmaster, and fans are limited to eight each. Brooks, who recently headlined London's Hyde Park to an estimated 70,000 people, said returning to arenas is about "putting the stadium show in a box".
