Nancy Jones has announced a tribute concert in Nashville to mark what would have been country singer George Jones’s 95th birthday. The event will celebrate Jones’s enduring influence on country music while raising money for music-related charitable causes and supporting his legacy among younger generations.

The concert is scheduled for 13 September in the Randy Travis Room at The Nashville Palace, one day after Jones’s birthday, with performers yet to be announced. Proceeds will support Concerts 4 a Cause and the George Jones Scholarship at Middle Tennessee State University, where students can study his life and music; tickets are already on sale.
