Collider has announced a free early screening event for Netflix's upcoming sci-fi thriller "The Last House," to be held in New York on 4 August, ahead of the film's official Netflix release. The event will include a post-screening Q&A with director Louis Leterrier, known for "Now You See Me" and "Fast X," moderated by Collider's Steven Weintraub, giving readers a chance to see the film early and hear directly from its director.

The screening takes place at a private midtown location, with doors opening at 6:00pm and the film starting at 7:00pm, followed by the Q&A; attendees will receive free popcorn, water and candy. Free tickets are available by submitting an email address via a link on Collider's site, with seating first come, first served and invites non-transferable. "The Last House," written by Matthew Robinson, follows a family of four trapped inside their home by an unknown threat as supplies dwindle, and stars Greta Lee and Wagner Moura, alongside Gabriel Barbosa, Emma Ho, Noah Alexander Sosnowski and Riley Chung; it premieres on Netflix on 7 August.
