A two-year-old girl nearly drowned after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool during her own birthday party at an apartment complex in Atlanta, Georgia. Police were called to Stadium Walk Apartments on Circle 75 Parkway on Saturday night after guests spotted the child floating in the water; bystanders pulled her out and performed CPR until she regained consciousness before paramedics took over her care.

The Cobb County Police Department and Marietta Fire EMT treated the toddler at the scene before she was taken to hospital, and investigators say they do not suspect foul play. Her identity has not been released.
