## Key points

- Glasner says Forest may need a sixth manager if players do not follow his plans.
- Forest have one win in nine league matches and sit 19th.
- They have 14.33 expected goals but only six league goals.

## Summary

Oliver Glasner has warned that Nottingham Forest could appoint a sixth manager in little over a year if players do not follow his instructions and results fail to improve. The warning followed a 2-0 defeat at Brentford, leaving Forest 19th in the Premier League and facing leaders Manchester City next.

Forest have won once in their opening nine league games, matching their record at this stage last season, though they have six points compared with five then. They have the league’s fourth-highest expected goals total, 14.33, but have scored only six times, the fewest in the division; they also rank second for shots per game. Against Brentford, Nikola Milenkovic scored an own goal before Igor Thiago added a second in the 76th minute.
