Glastonbury festival organisers have announced that tickets for the 2027 event will go on sale on Sunday 4 October, with the price breaking £400 for the first time. The £408 cost, which includes a £5 booking fee, marks a rise from £378.50 in 2025 and follows a fallow year in which the festival did not take place in 2026. The announcement comes as fans speculate over the line-up, with Harry Styles rumoured as a headliner, though organiser Emily Eavis has denied reports that Madonna will perform.

Tickets bundled with coach travel go on sale earlier, at 6pm on Thursday 1 October, to encourage lower-carbon travel to the Somerset site, while general tickets follow at 9am on 4 October. Prospective buyers must register by 5pm on Friday 25 September, and can pay in full or with a £100 deposit, with the balance due in early April; under-13s go free. The 2027 festival runs from 23 to 27 June, following a 2025 edition headlined by the 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo that was also marked by controversy over performances by Kneecap and Bob Vylan.
