## Key points

- Sons of Sparta may be coming to PS4.
- PlayStation Game Size confirmed its post when asked.
- An announcement could arrive before year-end.

## Summary

God of War: Sons of Sparta, a retro-style Metroidvania released for PS5 earlier this year, may be coming to PS4. The reported port would bring the spin-off to Sony’s older console, which the company has largely moved on from, though it remains popular.

The claim comes from PlayStation Game Size, an account that tracks information on Sony’s servers, which posted that the game is coming to PS4 and confirmed this when asked. Sony’s last first-party PS4 release was MLB The Show 23 in 2023. The game received 7/10 in a review that praised its later sections while noting a slow start; if the leak is accurate, an announcement may come before the end of the year.
